I was driving about aimlessly when I stumbled on the Arbor Hills Nature Center in Plano. Plano is an affluent suburb of Dallas and the nature was very nice. There were lots of wide concrete paths and there were a lot of families there going for a walk
The city of Plano had done a great job of planting and restoring the black land prairie grasses and plants.
There were also quite a few places where they had planted native flowering plants that were quite beautiful.
It looks still hot out there.
ReplyDeleteI can't say I like snakes. I can't go near a snake. You must have a tender heart.
It really wasn't that hot, about 33 to 35, the weather is finally beginning to cool down and feel a little bit like fall. I am not a big fan of snakes but in a natural park like this it is very uncommon to see any kind of wild life so seeing the snake was unexpected. I was more concerned for the snakes safety than mine. The people pose far more danger to the snake than the snake did to the people.
